Our full size Utopia 360 headset fits screen sizes 4-6 inches and phones up to 6.3 inches tall and between 2.3-3.15 inches wide. The Utopia 360x fits phone screen sizes 4-6 inches. We can confirm that both will fit the iPhone 6 Plus and Samsung Note 7.
Remove the cushion tabs that are pressing on the buttons and use the extra tabs provided with the unit. Place them so to avoid button interference with your phone.
Keep both hands on the headset like you are using a pair of binoculars. Your head rotational speed will be limited by the torso rotational speed which is much slower than the neck rotational speed. This will better help the image on the screen keep up with your head movement preventing VR sickness.
Yes, our headset is designed to allow access to both the top and bottom of the phones. You can plug in a charge cable or headphones
Your phone most likely does not have a gyroscope. We recommend visiting GSM Arena’s website (http://www.gsmarena.com/makers.php3) and use their Phone Finder search. After finding your phone, find the Features section. In this section, gyro should be listed in the sensors. If it is not, you most likely do not have a gyroscope.
Your phone most likely does not have a gyroscope or your gyroscope may not be functioning correctly. A phone’s gyroscope is the sensor that can detect rotation.
A lot of the VR apps depend on the gyroscope to detect head movement. Unfortunately, without a gyroscope, you will not be able to experience the full VR experience. You can still watch VR and 3D videos with split screen, but you will not be able to look around.
Unfortunately, the mouse and VR modes are only supported on Android smart phones.
Some screen protectors will prevent the phone from detecting when the button makes contact with the screen. If this occurs, you will need to remove the screen protector
Some devices are thicker than others. To accommodate this, you may need to remove the padding on the back of the phone holder. This should hopefully get the extra depth you need.
If controller is not responding, remove batteries and reinsert batteries. Then power on. If it is still not responding, replace batteries.
If the controller cannot be found while pairing, turn your phone’s Bluetooth off and back on. Restarting your phone and the controller may help.
If you try to change modes, the LED should light up if the unit is on.
Our second generation of controllers no longer need the switch. The controller can automatically detect if it is connected to an iPhone or an Android device. All other functionality remains the same. You will see no difference.
